"Turned into a subject of ridicule": Tokayev commented on the tarnishing of Kazakhstan's reputation.

During a government meeting, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated that certain individuals are turning Kazakhstan into a subject of ridicule, as reported by NUR.KZ, citing Akorda.
"Токаев отметил, что Казахстан стал объектом насмешек из-за попыток очернить его репутацию."

According to the president, the primary task of the government is to address the urgent issues faced by citizens, which is impossible without ongoing communication with them.

"Therefore, special attention should be paid to the appeals of the population. Last year, more than 50,000 appeals were received by the President's Administration, while nearly four million were sent to all state bodies in the country. This figure is increasing year by year," said Tokayev.

He notes that this indicates that people have faith in the concept of a "listening state." However, on the other hand, the head of state believes it is clear that the issues faced by Kazakhstanis are not being resolved in the day-to-day operations of government agencies.

"Therefore, it is necessary to conduct thorough work on the mistakes. Typically, appeals reflect the fates of individuals, so full engagement from all authorized structures is required," reported Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During his speech, he added that some individuals mock Kazakhstan.

"Certain citizens are turning our country into an object of ridicule. While many foreigners admire our achievements and successes and share them with the world, some of our compatriots, including representatives of the show business, young people who call themselves 'public activists,' and even deputies, tarnish Kazakhstan's reputation. This is completely incomprehensible," stated the president.

Last year, during his address to the nation, the president stated that it is essential to radically improve the effectiveness of government management.

The president also mentioned during a meeting that attracting private investments into the economy is becoming a priority task.
