The Chairman of the Maslikhat in Kostanay region attempted to bribe auditors with two million tenge.
The anti-corruption agency for the Kostanay region has completed its investigation into the chairman and a deputy of the Beimbet Maylin district maslikhat, reports Orda.kz.

Prior to this, the state audit department discovered that a company affiliated with the chairman of the maslikhat had won government tenders.
On January 23, the prosecutor's office submitted the case to the court. Details are currently not being disclosed in the interest of the investigation.
It was previously reported that in the Aktobe region, deputies devised a scheme involving a dormitory and embezzled nearly 700 million tenge.
