Will Kazakhstan see the emergence of a fourth telecommunications operator?

“I was only speaking about the potential possibility that such an opportunity exists. However, there are no plans at this time from the regulator to introduce a fourth mobile operator to the market,” stated Deputy Minister Askhат Orazbek in the Senate corridors.

According to him, if the existing operators perform effectively, there will be no need for such measures.

“In that case, we do not see the necessity for increasing additional competition,” concluded Orazbek.
