Teacher's suicide attempt: an investigation has been launched in Atyrau.

Authorities are investigating the attempted suicide of a teacher from Secondary School No. 37 named after S. Zimanov, reports Orda.kz correspondent.
В Атырау стартовала проверка после попытки суицида учительницы.

The reason was the dismissal notifications of two deputy directors for academic affairs.
In this regard, the head of the Atyrau City Department of Education, Ainagul Dyusekenova, held a meeting with the school staff, where she listened to the teachers' arguments.

As a result of the meeting, the city department strictly emphasized to the school administration the unacceptability of illegal dismissals. A formal directive was sent to Director Bulekova, demanding to stabilize the pedagogical and psychological environment within the team and to preserve the employees' jobs.

There is speculation that the incident involving the teacher's suicide attempt is connected to a previous conflict. Following the investigations, the director, as claimed by the teachers, began to exert pressure on the staff.

An English language teacher, who became the latest victim of harassment, attempted to take her own life after the last teachers' council.

Currently, the circumstances surrounding the incident are still being clarified. The department announced that a special commission will be established to study the situation and conduct the necessary inspections.

“If violations of the law are identified, measures will be taken within the framework of the law. The issue of preserving teachers' jobs remains under strict control,” reported the city department of education.

Earlier, we wrote that during the meeting, one of the teachers, who teaches the Kazakh language, accused English teacher Zhadira Muratova of fraud.

According to the accuser, a certain man came to her and provided compromising information about Muratova.

The colleagues of the affected teacher tried to defend her and demanded to stop the discussion; however, the school director allowed the investigations to continue.
