Police in the Almaty region seized nearly 60 kg of drugs.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has referred to the operation to dismantle two drug laboratories as the largest of its kind, with the seizure being the most extensive in the country for 2024, reports Orda.kz.

After interrogating the detainee, law enforcement officials learned about another laboratory. There, they found equipment, chemical substances, and over 24 kg of drugs.
As specified by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the operation resulted in the seizure of nearly 60 kg of drugs, 95 kg of solid precursors, and 250 liters in liquid form.
