The staff at "Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary" has been reduced by nearly 80 employees.

“In the implementation of the government resolutions ‘On the Approval of the Development Plan for the Joint Stock Company ‘National Company ‘Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary’ for 2023-2032’ and ‘On the Approval of the Analytical Report on the Reform of the Quasi-State Sector in Kazakhstan and the Action Plan for its Implementation,’ a business process reengineering was conducted at JSC ‘NC ‘Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary,’” the government reported in response to a departmental inquiry.

As a result of the reorganization of the management system, the total number of employees in the company was optimized from 236 to 157, with the number of management positions reduced from 60 to 20. The positions of department heads and division heads were eliminated.

Due to the reduction of vacant positions and the redistribution of employees among structural divisions, the actual number of employees reduced amounted to 21, including 8 engineers, 3 administrative staff, and 10 production support staff. The optimization of the workforce allowed for an increase in the average salary of production personnel by 53% and that of administrative and management personnel by 10%.

“Compensatory payments totaling 5.9 million tenge were made to the laid-off employees in accordance with the Labor Code,” the agency added.
