The first UFC tournament of 2025 is approaching. Which fighters should you watch, and where can you catch the live stream?

On the night of Sunday, January 12, Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) will host the first tournament of 2025. Our correspondent reports on what exciting events await viewers tonight and tomorrow morning.

The event will take place at the UFC Apex arena and will feature 14 fights. The preliminary card will consist of eight bouts, while the main card will include six additional fights.

The early prelim fights will start at 02:00 Kazakhstan time. The main card will kick off at 05:00. The entire tournament can be viewed on UFC Fight Pass and Кинопоиске, while the main card will be broadcasted separately on Setanta Sports 2.

The tournament will showcase four undefeated fighters. The card will open with a lightweight bout between Nurollo Aliyev (9-0) from Tajikistan and Joe Solecki (13-5) from the USA.

In the light heavyweight prelims, Bahrain's Magomed Gajiyasulov (9-0) will face Brazilian Bruno Lopes (13-1).

An undefeated American, Jacob Smith (9-0), will make his debut in the welterweight division against fellow American Preston Parsons (11-5).

Another unbeaten debutant will feature in the main card. The featherweight from the USA, Austin Bashy (13-0), will battle another American, Christian Rodriguez (11-2).

Three bouts will showcase former opponents of Kazakhstan fighters. In the preliminary card, Brazilian lightweight Thiago Moises (18-8) will meet American Damir Ismagulov (18-6-0-1), who lost to Treym Ogden in 2019.

In the flyweight division, American Jose Johnson (16-9), who lost his last fight to Aсу Алмабаеву, will compete against Brazilian Felipe Bunes (13-7).

The co-main event will feature a welterweight clash. Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio (29-8) will face Guyanese fighter Carlston Harris (19-6). Three years ago, Harris was knocked out by Shavkat Rakhmonov.

As for the main event, it will showcase top representatives of the strawweight division from Brazil - Mackenzie Dern (14-5) and Amanda Ribas (13-5). Dern is ranked sixth in the division, while Ribas is eighth.

Interestingly, these are the only fighters among the 28 participants who are ranked in the UFC.
