Last year, 6,919,131 individuals (children born from 2006 to 2023 inclusive) participated in the "National Fund for Children" program, with each receiving $100.52. The total amount disbursed amounted to $695.5 million.
“Of the total number of children who received funds from the National Fund, 304,815 turned 18 in 2024, collectively receiving $30.6 million. In 2025, each child will receive $129.38. For children who have been part of the program for two years, the total savings, including received investment income, reached $232.94,” said the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The payment mechanism is extremely straightforward. Information regarding a child's participation in the program and the amounts credited can be viewed on the specially created website kids.enpf.kz by entering the child's Individual Identification Number (IIN). There, one can also find program conditions, instructions, and answers to frequently asked questions.
As of January 1, 2025, a total of 66,571 applications have been submitted for these purposes, with 53,001 applications processed for a total of $5,316.7 thousand. For housing improvement, 34,388 applications were submitted, 29,542 were processed, and $2,964 thousand was disbursed. For education payments, 32,183 applications were submitted, 23,459 were processed, and $2,352.7 thousand was disbursed.
This year, 6,921,035 children are participating in the program (children born from 2007 to 2024 inclusive), of which 324,430 will turn 18 in 2025.
