Nurgozhai will compete in his first fight at UFC Vegas 104 in Las Vegas, scheduled for March 15 at the UFC Apex filming studio in Las Vegas. His opponent will be 28-year-old Brazilian Brendson Ribeiro, known as "Gorilla."

Ribeiro began his professional MMA career in 2015. Currently, his record stands at 16 wins and 7 losses. In November 2024, at UFC Fight Night 246 in Edmonton, Ribeiro achieved his first victory in the UFC, winning by split decision against Brazilian Caio Machado.

It’s worth noting that Diar entered the UFC in early October 2024 after a spectacular win at Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS). He is currently one of six representatives from Kazakhstan in the premier league.
