A new deputy akim has been appointed in Taraz.

According to a report on the Facebook page of the Taraz Akimat, Ulanа Slambekova has been appointed as the deputy akim for internal policy, culture, employment, and social programs.

Official records indicate that Ulanа Slambekova was born on February 2, 1984, in the village of Akkol, Talas district, Zhambyl region.

She graduated from Taraz State University named after Dulati with a degree in personnel management.

From 2006 to 2023, she served as the chief specialist in the internal policy department of the Taraz city akimat, later leading the department.

From 2023 to 2024, she was the head of the internal policy department of the Zhambyl region akimat.

In 2024, she held the position of advisor to the akim of the Zhambyl region.

On December 31, 2024, she was appointed as the deputy akim of the city of Taraz.

It is worth noting that the day before, it was reported that the akims of two districts in the Mangistau region - Munailinsky and Tupkaragan - were changed. Kanat Kulzhanov and Yerzhan Kumiskaliev took the posts, respectively.

Prior to this, it became known that a new akim for the Astana district in Aktobe was appointed - Bayanbek Kyrykbaev took the position.
