A new head has been appointed to the National Security Committee Department in Shymkent.

The information regarding Seysembaev's appointment was confirmed by the DKNB itself.

It should be noted that in September 2024, Ruslan Seysembaev was relieved of his position as Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Head of the Anti-Terrorism Service.

According to official information, Seysembaev graduated from the KNB RK Academy.

He is an honorary employee of the KNB RK. In 2021, he was awarded the rank of Major General of National Security.

From 1997 to 2008, he served in officer positions within the national security agencies.

From 2008 to 2023, he held leadership positions in the national security agencies.

He held the position of Deputy Chairman of the KNB RK since April 2023.

Recall that in October, a new Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee was appointed – the position was taken by Kantay Dalmatov.
