A new head has been appointed for the Defense Affairs Department of Pavlodar.

In Pavlodar, Major Darkhan Tobagabulov has been appointed as the head of the city's defense affairs department, reports NUR.KZ, citing the agency.

According to the official account of the Defense Affairs Department of Pavlodar on Instagram, by order of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major Darkhan Muratovich Tobagabulov has been appointed as the head of the city's Defense Affairs Department.

Previously, the new head of the Defense Department was appointed in the Abai region. By the order of the Minister of Defense, this position was taken by Colonel Ruslan Omarov.

It has also been reported that 915 reserve officers are set to be called up for military service in Kazakhstan in 2025. They will serve for 24 months, or 2 years. Some will serve in the Armed Forces, while others will be in the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
