How much will toll roads in Kazakhstan increase in price?
Transport Minister Marat Karabaev has dismissed rumors that all toll roads will see a fourfold increase in prices by 2025. He also provided details on how much the cost of travel will actually rise, according to Orda.kz.

“I completely refute your information that toll roads will increase fourfold. This is incorrect information. For those residents who live in this specific area and regularly use the road, there is an annual subscription fee of over 3000 tenge for road usage,” said Marat Karabaev.
However, the tolls will still increase, the minister clarified.
“The price increase will depend on the type of road. In certain sections, it will be 30%, while in others it will be 40% (increase). Overall, we are gradually moving towards higher costs,” added the head of the Ministry of Transport.
At a government meeting, Marat Karabaev announced that by 2026, they plan to earn 100 billion tenge from toll roads in Kazakhstan.
