“He was sentenced to three and a half years of imprisonment. The same ruling also sentenced his intermediary to one year and six months in jail. Additionally, both the briber and his intermediary were sent to prison for three years,” reported the anti-corruption agency.
The court has prohibited the defendants from holding positions in public service and quasi-governmental structures for life.
The verdict has not yet come into legal force.
