A cyberattack has targeted the popular app DeepSeek.

The incident occurred on January 27 and affected users worldwide. Company specialists reported a temporary suspension of the platform's operations due to interference from malicious actors.

“According to preliminary data, hackers employed sophisticated tools to infiltrate the DeepSeek systems. The attack resulted in significant disruptions in service on both mobile devices and the web version of the platform. Users working with iOS and Android applications were particularly impacted, experiencing data processing failures,” the developers stated.

Company representatives announced that their specialists are actively working to restore the platform's functionality. The official statement highlights:

“We are making every effort to resolve the aftermath of the incident as quickly as possible. Additionally, measures are being taken to enhance the security of the system,” the company representatives stated.
