In November of last year, following a meeting with Defense Minister Ruslan Zhaksylykov, the Supreme Commander Kassym-Jomart Tokayev set specific tasks for the ministry to enhance cooperation with domestic defense enterprises, develop territorial defense, strengthen special operations forces, and improve socio-legal work.

Prior to this, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during his address to the nation in September of last year, instructed to ensure strict discipline in the army.
