A major traffic accident in Akmolinsk region: the investigation is being conducted under two charges.
On January 3rd, an accident involving 95 vehicles occurred on the Astana-Petropavlovsk highway near the village of Zhanatalap. Twenty individuals were injured in the incident, including eight children, as reported by Orda.kz.

“Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated under Article 345 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan for ‘Traffic rules violations by road users that resulted in unintentional harm to health of moderate severity’ and Article 353 Part 1 of the Criminal Code for ‘Violation of transport regulations,’
the agency reported.
