The UAE SWAT Challenge is an unofficial world championship for special forces units from law enforcement agencies. It is often referred to as the "Olympics of Special Forces." The tournament takes place from February 1 to 5 in Dubai (UAE) at the Al Ruwaya training base.
This marks the sixth edition of the championship organized by the Dubai Police. Each year, it brings together elite specialized units from around the globe to compete in five intense tactical challenges: tactical competitions, assault competitions, officer rescue, high-rise tower challenges, and obstacle courses.
This year, 106 teams from over 80 countries are participating in the SWAT Challenge. Kazakhstan is represented by 12 teams, including those from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the National Security Committee, and the State Protection Service.

Among the top ten after the second day of competition are other Kazakh special units: "Sunkar," "Arlan," "National Guard of Kazakhstan," and "SSN Aktau." For the first time, a women's team from Kazakhstan named "Tomiris," composed of the country's top female law enforcement officers, is competing.
Three more competition days are still ahead.
