The robotic milking carousel system from the Swedish brand DeLaval, which can accommodate 80 heads of cattle simultaneously, is capable of servicing two thousand cows in five hours. The dairy worker, acting as the operator, is required to exert minimal effort. Only 12 people are needed to operate the installation per shift.
The automatic milking system is designed to ensure that the animal feels quite comfortable during the milking process: gentle hoof treatment and preventive health care for the udder are conducted. Various sensors continuously analyze both the quantity and quality of the milk flow. Only high-quality raw materials are sent to the cooling tank.
The launch of this complex is a significant step in fulfilling the directive of the Head of State to increase the share of processed agricultural products to 70%.
– We have a task to increase the supply of dairy products to the capital by about 50%. To achieve this, new production facilities are being created and existing ones are being expanded in the region. An effective support tool has been the preferential loan program for investment projects, – noted Murat Balpan, the deputy akim of the region, at the opening of the facility.
Government support will allow Akmolinskaya region to increase the production of marketable milk by 1.5 times, or from 90,000 to 130,000 tons. In the near future, the region, as a key participant in the food belt of the capital, will be able to supply its residents with 50% of their dairy product needs.
It is worth noting that last year, five large dairy farms with a capacity of 4,900 heads of cattle were commissioned in four districts of the region. This year, the launch of two more dairy farms with a capacity of 1,200 heads is planned.
