According to KTЖ, from September to December 25, 2024, 3.7 million tons of new crop grain were exported, which is 54% higher than the same period in 2023 (2.4 million tons).
Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 44% (from 994 thousand tons to 1,427 thousand tons), to Tajikistan by 53% (from 385 thousand tons to 589 thousand tons), to Afghanistan by 52% (from 120 thousand tons to 182 thousand tons), and to Kyrgyzstan by 22% (from 59 thousand tons to 72 thousand tons).
Exports to Iran (via the Aktau port) surged 30.2 times, from 14 thousand tons to 435 thousand tons.
In total, over the 11 months of the current year, 9.2 million tons of grain cargo were transported, of which 2.2 million tons were for domestic shipments and 7 million tons for export.
