According to him, a significant portion of Kazakhstan's agricultural exports to China today consists of grains and oilseeds, as well as vegetable oils. Additionally, Kazakhstan has promising opportunities for exporting livestock products, including beef, lamb, poultry, dairy products, and honey. The Chinese market is particularly interested in grain exports.
“In 2023, the volume of grain supplies to China increased by 5.5 times, reaching 1.4 million tons. In the first nine months of this year, Kazakh companies shipped 1.1 million tons of grain to China,” the minister reported.
In turn, Chinese investors view organic product production as one of the potentially attractive areas.
Earlier, Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebaev discussed the planned promotion of the Kazakh wheat brand in new markets such as Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, and Malaysia.
