The meeting of specialists from the creative and media sectors attracted a diverse crowd — journalists, PR professionals, bloggers, creators, speechwriters, photographers, videographers, designers, producers — representatives from various industries involved in content production. The event was organized by the Creative Industries Alliance of Kazakhstan and the PR Alliance community, who also signed a memorandum of cooperation to advance the creative industry in Kazakhstan.

The event was opened by Askat Uskenbaev, the exclusive official representative of the international creativity festival "Cannes Lions" in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan, who shared insights with the audience about the possibilities of artificial intelligence and its application in advertising. Halima Sadykova, Chief Operating Officer of Genesis CSP, introduced AI GUL — a project developed using AI aimed at promoting technology and the Kazakh language on YouTube.

Madina Abdrakhmanova, Deputy Director for Product and External Relations and Senior Data Analyst at the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at NU, presented several projects to the meetup participants: the Soyle app — an innovative AI product for speech recognition, voice synthesis, and translation of text and speech in four languages, as well as the Oylan product, which allows work with text and images in three languages: Kazakh, English, and Russian. These AI developments are already accessible to everyone interested.

Sanjar Madi, a distinguished figure in Kazakhstan, actor, and producer, founder of the OINA studio, discussed new opportunities in the film industry related to media and PR promotion of film products, particularly the use of vertical formats and the rising popularity of vertical series.

Aika Alemi, Director of Born Nomad and DMUK HUB, President of CIAQ, addressed issues related to incubation and promotion of talents, brands, products, startups, and investments in the creative industries. Aisana Ashim, founder of The Village Kazakhstan, spoke about the changing media landscape. Valuable insights were shared by Leonid Nigmatullin, PR Director of Citix and influencer, who discussed key PR trends for 2025, particularly the importance of creative thinking and community building.

The meetup was moderated by David Tughanov — a board member and executive director of CIAQ.

The mission of the Creative Industries Alliance of Kazakhstan is to foster the development of creative industries according to market economy principles. The organization's goal is to assist creative entrepreneurs in creating and managing intangible assets (ideas, copyrights, brands, patents) for successful entrepreneurial activities both in Kazakhstan and abroad, eliminating systemic barriers to the growth of creative industries.

PR Alliance is a professional community established in 2023 to advance sector-specific PR in Kazakhstan. Its founders are Gauhar Abeuova and Asel Alimhanova. The community promotes the professional development of PR in Kazakhstan, particularly in sector-specific PR and journalism, by organizing various events, thereby contributing to education, skill enhancement, and professional growth of PR specialists and journalists.
