The album was published by the media group "Komsomolskaya Pravda" in collaboration with the Russian Military Historical Society.

- I share this award with the wonderful team of the Russian Military Historical Society and, of course, with the publishing house "Komsomolskaya Pravda". I don't know any other publishing house in Russia that can produce historical albums as brilliantly as this one, - said Yegor Yakovlev upon receiving the award.

Everyone has heard about the Siege of Leningrad, but I think no one has heard about the Siege of Moscow. Our book tells how the fascists planned a similar siege of Moscow, intending to starve the city's residents and destroy the city. If this plan had been realized, we simply would not exist. Why is it important to write about this? Because only by understanding the threat that loomed over our country and people can we fully appreciate the greatness of the feat accomplished by the Red Army and our entire nation.
