Special cards have started being issued to foreigners in Kazakhstan.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan will issue special cards with QR codes to foreigners arriving in the country. This initiative is part of a program aimed at ensuring the safety of tourists, reports Orda.kz.

Among the information available on the new portal are application 102 for instant communication with the police, a guide on compliance with migration legislation, maps of cities in Kazakhstan, a list of official taxi services and telecom operators, as well as emergency service contacts.
The first cards for tourists have already started to be distributed at Almaty International Airport.
