Storm warning issued again: weather forecast for January 4th.

In the northern and eastern parts of Pavlodar region, light precipitation (rain, snow) is expected, along with low visibility snowstorms and icy conditions. Winds may reach up to 23 m/s at night.

On January 4th, in the morning and during the day, forecasters predict icy conditions in the western and southern areas of Atyrau region. Fog is expected in the west, south, and east of the region. In Atyrau, fog is also anticipated at night and in the morning.

The northern, eastern, and southern parts of Kostanay region are forecasted to experience icy conditions and low visibility snowstorms. Fog is expected in the west, north, and east of the region.

On January 4th, in the northern and mountainous areas of Zhetysu region, fog is anticipated at times. During the day, winds around the Alakol lakes may gust up to 15–20 m/s.

Fog and icy conditions are forecasted in the southern, eastern, and central parts of Aktobe region.

During the day, forecasters promise icy conditions in the southern and mountainous areas of Turkestan region. Fog is expected in the north, west, south, and in the mountainous and foothill areas of the region. In Shymkent and Turkestan, fog is also anticipated at times on January 4th.

In the northern, eastern, and western parts of North Kazakhstan region, low visibility snowstorms and icy conditions are forecasted. Fog is expected in the south, east, and north of the region. Winds in the south and west of the region may gust up to 23–28 m/s. In Petropavlovsk, low visibility snowstorms, icy conditions, fog, and winds of 15–20 m/s are expected on January 4th.

Meteorologists predict snowstorms and icy conditions in the west, north, and east of East Kazakhstan region. Fog is expected in the east and south of the region. Winds in the west, north, and east of the region may reach 15–20 m/s, with gusts at night reaching 23 m/s.

On January 4th, fog is expected at times in the northern, southern, and mountainous areas of Almaty region. Fog is also forecasted for Ulytau, Mangystau, Kyzylorda regions, in the mountainous areas of Zhambyl region, and locally in Karaganda region.
