The theft of approximately 280 million tenge has been uncovered in the Kyzylorda region.

He has been found guilty of embezzling over 279 million tenge through deception and abuse of his official position.

“For two years, the convicted individual entered into contracts with the contracting organizations LLP 'OrdaGlass LTD' and 'HH&B Holding' at inflated prices. Misleading them, he claimed that a significant portion of the funds had been spent on construction and installation works, and that the cost of building materials had significantly increased,” the case materials state.

The state prosecutor of the Main Transport Prosecutor's Office proved his guilt in court.

The convicted individual has been sentenced to 6 years of imprisonment with a lifetime ban on holding positions in public service and the quasi-public sector.

The court's verdict has come into legal force.
