Khabib responded to McGregor's conviction for sexual assault.

The former champion reacted to the court's decision, which found the Irish fighter guilty of sexual assault, reports Vesti.kz.

On November 22, it was announced that McGregor must pay a fine of $250,000 related to the incident that occurred in 2018 at the Beacon hotel in Dublin.

Nurmagomedov did not ignore the situation and posted about it on his social media.

The proceedings were part of a civil lawsuit. McGregor was ordered to compensate the victim €248,603 (approximately £206,000). The woman, who was acquainted with McGregor through social media, claimed that the fighter pinned her to the bed in the hotel penthouse, choked her, and then forcibly engaged in sexual intercourse, which was accompanied by physical assault. The victim was found to have bruises on her arms, body, and abrasions on her neck. She noted that she was against the intimacy due to her menstruation.

McGregor did not comment on the situation, quickly leaving the courtroom after the verdict was delivered.

It is worth recalling that in 2018, Khabib and Conor faced off in one of the most high-profile fights in UFC history, where the Russian secured victory via submission in the fourth round, defending his lightweight title.

Remember, Nurmagomedov retired in 2021, boasting 29 wins in 29 MMA fights. He is a former UFC lightweight champion and has been inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

The last time 36-year-old McGregor fought was in July 2021 in Las Vegas, where he broke his leg in the first round against Dustin Poirier. As a result, the victory was awarded to the American by technical knockout.
