“During supervisory activities, violations were identified on the part of trust managers who neglected their contractual obligations to maintain the proper technical condition of 8 reservoirs, specifically failing to inspect the water management systems and structures,” the Prosecutor's Office of Almaty Region reported.
These circumstances could lead to irreversible consequences for both the life and health of the population and the environment.
“As a result of the measures taken, 8 contracts with unscrupulous managers have been terminated, and the property has been returned to state ownership,” the agency stated.
Currently, authorized bodies are conducting a multifactor technical inspection of water objects based on the prosecutor's oversight act.
