The renowned Buddhist astrologer and head of the Kurumkansky Datsan “Gandan She Duvlin” in Buryatia, Yeshi Namzhil Lama, has once again unveiled the secrets of the future. The seer revealed how one should eat in the upcoming year.

Important! Buddhists believe that the patron of the year, the green wooden Snake, will take its place only after the White Month holiday, the date of which is calculated annually using special astronomical tables. This year, the celebration will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

The Buryat Lama's advice on how to change your menu can be found in the article by KP-Irkutsk.

ALLERGIES AND POISONINGS WILL INCREASE

- The year will arrive later than ever before. However, its energy will start to manifest about 2-3 months prior, gradually increasing and reaching full strength in April-May, - says Yeshi Namzhil Lama.

The first recommendation from the head is to avoid getting carried away with fish, pork, and game. It is also advisable not to consume excessive amounts of caviar, mushrooms, nuts, berries, fruits, and honey.

- People will be more prone to allergies. Cases of poisoning will also increase, especially due to the aforementioned products. Those collected or harvested with negative intentions, or during the “Pagshag” period, will be particularly unsafe, - notes the head.

According to Buddhist astrology, during the week of “Pagshag,” water becomes contaminated and can negatively affect a person's body. During these days, believers refrain from bathing in bodies of water. In 2024, this unspoken prohibition was in effect from July 9 to July 15.

Another warning from the Buddhist astrologer: limit the consumption of eggs, dairy products, and other foods containing animal fats. Foreign delicacies such as amphibian meat, reptiles, and insects could also be harmful to health.

- Cases of poisoning or deteriorating health due to alcohol, tinctures, and herbal mixtures will become more common. This will be caused by a significant increase in cheap counterfeits.

MORE VEGETABLES

Yeshi Namzhil Lama believes that Russians will become more discerning and picky about their diets. This could lead to a noticeable decrease in demand for certain products. Some of these may even disappear from store shelves or become scarce. The forecast also mentions the harm of artificially produced foods or those subjected to various types of processing. People will increasingly raise this issue and discuss it publicly.

- It’s better not to eat anything unfamiliar. If you do try, do so in very small amounts. The safest options will probably be poultry and beef, cereal crops (wheat, rye, corn, barley, rice), especially oats. I recommend consuming spicy foods less frequently.

The Year of the Snake is expected to be bountiful for vegetables, according to the Lama. They should be included in the menu as much and as often as possible.

- It's very important to eat in the morning and at lunch when metabolism is active. Dinner should be as early as possible, - believes the head of the Kurumkansky Datsan. - It is highly discouraged to eat until full right before bed.

In conclusion, the Lama adds that in the Year of the Snake, different types of meat should not be mixed in one meal. It’s better to cook with fewer ingredients.

Let us remind you that earlier a well-known clergyman-blogger revealed the secrets of Tibetan medicine for longevity. According to them, the secrets of all problems and illnesses lie in the mind, i.e., in the lifestyle we choose. For example, every food we consume possesses unique energy and properties. While some may heal one person, they may harm another. This approach was commented on by Nuria Dianova, a first-category gastroenterologist with 19 years of experience, dietitian, and food behavior psychologist.
