A clash between residents of two villages near the Russian border ended in a fatality.
In the Kurmangazinsky district of the Atyrau region, which borders the Russian Federation, a large-scale brawl broke out among residents of neighboring villages. According to a report by Orda.kz, one participant in the altercation lost their life as a result of the conflict.

All suspects are currently in custody.
“A pre-trial investigation is underway,” the Department of Atyrau Region reported.
The reason why residents of one village traveled to another is still unknown. According to the villagers, the conflict began in one of the bars in Zhanaauyl.
A special investigative team is currently working in the area, and security measures have been heightened.
The village of Safon is located approximately 90 km from Astrakhan and about 239 km from Atyrau.
