Meanwhile, rescuers continue to assist those evacuated from the highway in Kazakhstan. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, initially, rescuers transported four citizens, who were previously evacuated from the section of the Astana — Shchuchinsk highway, to the station in the city of Makinsk. They traveled to Petropavlovsk by train. Shortly after, another 16 evacuees from the highway, including eight children, were brought to the same station by the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan. They also departed for Astana via rail.
