At the school in the residential area of Rauan, 580 children are enrolled. It was put into operation during the pandemic. According to parents, the roof issues during rainy weather began back then, but the problem has yet to be resolved after several years. Currently, students are forced to sit in classrooms where water drips from the ceiling.

“In the classrooms on the second floor, water is flowing everywhere. It's heartbreaking for the children. They move desks to dry spots and continue their studies. The entire second floor of the school is flooded. There's a hole in the ceiling of the assembly hall. Water can be seen in the cafeteria. It’s very sad for the books in the library. Textbooks and literature have become unusable. More than 100 books are no longer usable,” lament the parents of the students.

The school administration is working with the relevant institutions for a prompt resolution of this issue. There is no danger to students and staff,” stated Zhuldyz Shalabaeva, the deputy head of the Aktoobe city education department.
