Lawmakers criticized the government for its constant adjustments to the republic's budget.
During the plenary session, Deputy Erlan Sairov inquired with Deputy Prime Minister Nurlan Baibazarov about the numerous adjustments to the national budget this year, as reported by Orda.kz.

In response, Baibazarov clarified that there were not nine, but ten budget adjustments. According to him, the government recently made changes amounting to 375 billion tenge, reallocating funds for economic development. He emphasized that all information was transparently presented in the report, and in the event of new adjustments, the government always notifies the deputies within five days.
“Let’s address the question of why these adjustments were made and for what purposes. The most important thing is that during the floods in spring, we began to cut expenses and directed everything towards mitigating the consequences. We started to reduce various forums, events, as well as business trips. We allocated funds to investment projects and reassessed innovative projects. This year, thanks to these actions, we have been able to triple our financing for the agricultural sector. For providing gas to the population, we allocated 100 billion tenge. This opportunity arose due to these savings. These are the goals,” he stated.
The speaker of the Mazhilis, Erlan Koshanov, criticized the government's approach:
“You mentioned that 10 adjustments were made to the republican budget. You speak as if this is an act of heroism. The deputy correctly pointed out—actually, you introduce adjustments to the republican budget every month. This indicates a shortcoming, a negative aspect of your work? Therefore, the deputy's words should be taken into account.”
