Darkhan Satybaldy has been appointed as the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration.

According to the Telegram channel of the Akorda press service, Darkhan Satybaldi has been relieved of his previous position.

It should be noted that Darkhan Satybaldi held the post of akim of Turkestan region since August 2022. In December 2022, he was reappointed to this position.

As per official information, he was born in 1974 in the South Kazakhstan region.

He graduated from the Akmolinsk Agricultural Institute named after Seifullin and the Kazakh Humanitarian-Legal University. He holds a PhD in Economics.

He began his career in 1996 at the communal enterprise "Keles" in the Keles district of the South Kazakhstan region.

From 2000 to 2006, he held various positions in the Ministry of Finance and the Presidential Administration.

From 2007 to 2010, he served as the Deputy Director of the Budget and Finance Departments of the Ministry of Education and Science, as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Science Committee.

In 2010, he was appointed head of the Department of the National Security Committee.

From 2011 to 2013, he was the Deputy Head of the Socio-Economic Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.

In 2013, he took the position of akim of Shymkent.

From 2015 to 2017, he served as the First Deputy akim of the South Kazakhstan region and was elected as a senator in Parliament.

From March 2019 until his appointment as akim of Turkestan region, he was the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.

Recall that it became known the day before that the deputies of the maslikhat of Turkestan region are being summoned for a meeting to give consent for the appointment of the region's akim. The meeting is scheduled for today at 10:30.

Additionally, according to information on the Akorda website, the Presidential Administration is a state body established by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, directly subordinate and accountable to him.

The mission of the Administration is to provide quality and timely informational-analytical, legal, protocol-organizational, documentation, and other support for the President's activities.

The head of the Presidential Administration since February 2024 is Aibek Dadabaev. He replaced Olzhas Bektenov in this position, who currently leads the country's government.
