Over the past 9 months of the current year, consumer rights have been protected for a total of one billion tenge.
“Overall, the committee has summarized the results from the territorial departments of trade and consumer rights protection. In the first 9 months of this year, 81 high-profile cases were established, protecting the rights of approximately 290 consumers for a total of 899 million tenge. As a result of the conducted activities, consumer rights have been protected for a total amount of 1.3 billion tenge. This includes returns and exchanges of goods,” shared Shakarim Haidar, an expert from the control and coordination department of the Committee for Consumer Rights Protection of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
