A snowstorm and poor visibility have led to the blockage of over 100 vehicles in a traffic jam on the exit from the city of Ayagoz.
Police are on-site, monitoring the situation and providing guidance to drivers.
Drivers are urged to remain calm and follow the recommendations of law enforcement. While awaiting improved weather conditions, the police are preparing to escort a convoy towards the Semey – Almaty highway.
