Rakhmonov, who is ranked third in the welterweight division, will face Garry (No. 7) in the co-main event of UFC 310, scheduled for December 7 in Las Vegas (USA).

"People don’t believe me, but I think Ian Garry will win. He does a great job of staying safe. If you don’t have the legs to track down guys who are constantly moving and setting traps, obviously, you won’t land a hit. If you engage in a firefight with Rakhmonov, you’ll get burned, but I don’t think that will happen with Garry," Buckley said in an interview with James Lynch's YouTube channel.

Initially, Shavkat was supposed to fight UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad (24-3). However, their bout, scheduled for UFC 310, was canceled due to health issues faced by the American fighter of Palestinian descent.
