A fighter with a 15-0 record is set to shatter the myth of Rakhmonov's invincibility.

The UFC welterweight Ian Garry (15-0) is set to take on the undefeated Kazakh fighter Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0), as reported by Vesti.kz.

Their five-round matchup will co-headline the UFC 310 event, scheduled for December 8 in Las Vegas, USA.

Garry is a rising star in the UFC with a record of 15-0, but he has faced near defeat and has even been knocked down. Will Rakhmonov take away his "zero"?

"Everyone thinks this guy is the nightmare of the division. I'm going to step into the cage on December 7 and shock the world," Garry is quoted by Home of Fight on their social media page.

For Rakhmonov, this will be his first fight of the year. Initially, he was supposed to share the octagon with the reigning UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad (24-3), but the American fighter of Palestinian descent withdrew from the bout due to health issues. Only Garry agreed to step in as a replacement. By the way, the Irishman will be fighting for the third time before the year's end. Previously, he faced American Jeff Neil in February and British fighter Michael Page in June, winning both matches by decision.
