The story of Kazakh fighter Almatbaev is reminiscent of "Astro Boy" Erceg's journey: he broke into the rankings after just three fights in the promotion. Currently, Almatbaev enters the UFC with a record of 4-0, and his latest victory was the biggest of his career—a decision win over Mateus Nicolaou in October. Almatbaev boasts an impressive record of 21-2 and has not lost in nearly eight years," the publication notes.
Almatbaev has fought four times in the UFC and secured four victories. Erceg has participated in five bouts in the world's top league: three wins and two losses.
