Since 2022, the agency has returned 1.12 trillion tenge to the state. They promise to continue their work on asset recovery, including through the expansion of international cooperation.
“The agency has secured the signing of 14 memorandums with international organizations and anti-corruption agencies, five of which were signed last year — with Azerbaijan, Russia, Hong Kong, Jordan, and Qatar,” the agency reported.
Earlier, the Anti-Corruption Agency announced the completion of an investigation into the former vice-minister of culture and sports and the management of the contracting organization on suspicion of committing serious crimes.
