“It has been established that the company restricted buyers' rights by denying them warranty coverage for their vehicles if they changed the engine oil or performed maintenance at independent service centers. This created barriers to competition in the auto service market and violated consumer rights,” the message from the AZRK states.
The department has sent a notification to the company regarding the need to rectify the identified violations.
“At this moment, TОО ‘Allur Auto Astana’ has confirmed the removal of these restrictions. Now, buyers can service their vehicles at both authorized and independent service centers without losing their warranty,” assured the government agency.
