While congratulating the villagers, the regional akim Nurlibek Naliabaev emphasized that the country's leadership is giving significant attention to the comprehensive development of modern village infrastructure. In accordance with the President's directive, a list of projects has been identified in the region that will allow for the construction of 306 km of gas pipelines, providing gas to over 20,000 people.
For gasification projects in 2024, it was planned to allocate 3.9 billion tenge from the republican budget, 2.6 billion tenge from the regional budget, and over 24 billion tenge from the fund of JSC "FNB Samruk-Kazyna".
During the ceremonial event in the villages of A. Tokmaganbetov and S. Seifulin, the regional head highlighted the achievements of the Syrdarya district. For instance, in just one year, its budget increased from 12 billion to 16 billion 108 million tenge, showing a growth of 33%. These funds were primarily directed towards addressing the pressing issues faced by the local population.
The villagers were congratulated on this long-awaited joyful event by esteemed elders Sultanbek Tauipbaev and Abdigappar Amirgaliev. For their contributions to the region's development and prosperity, Nurlibek Naliabaev awarded letters of appreciation to labor veterans and specialists in the gas industry.
The connection ceremony also took place in the Zhalagash district. Notably, Aksu and M. Shamenov's village are the first in the area to receive blue fuel.
In the village of M. Shamenov, which has a population of over a thousand, more than 200 private homes will be connected to the natural gas network. Over 649 million tenge has been allocated for the gasification of this locality. In the Akasu rural district, blue fuel will reach 310 residential houses, home to about 1,700 villagers.
The cost of the gasification project was just over 517 million tenge. In both villages, the construction of gas distribution networks and the gas pipeline leading to the settlements was carried out by the contracting organization LLP "AES and Limited".
As noted, next year, gasification work will begin in several nearby villages – Bukharbay-Batyr, Karaketken, and Daldabay.
After the official events, Nurlibek Naliabaev met with the villagers, listened to their opinions and suggestions. The villagers expressed their gratitude for finally fulfilling their long-standing dream – gasification has brought warmth and comfort into their homes. They will no longer need to gather firewood, stockpile tons of coal, spend time on kindling and maintaining a fire in the stove, or choke on ash dust and soot. The affordability of fuel will help save money in their family budgets.
In response to the villagers' questions, the regional head discussed the work accomplished and future plans for the development of rural infrastructure. In particular, he noted that currently, all cities in the region are connected to natural gas: Kyzylorda, Baikonyr, Aralsk, Kazaly, and all district centers, as well as over 30 rural settlements. By the end of the year, it is planned to connect about 10 more rural districts to centralized gas supply, thereby raising the gas supply level in the region to 78%.
Next year, according to the regional energy and housing and communal services department, it is planned to connect the rural districts of Dur Ongar in the Karmakshin district, Shizhaga in the Aral district, Aktan-Batyr in the Kazalinsk district, Shagan and Nagi Ilyasov in the Syrdarya district, as well as the suburban settlements of Baymurat-Batyr, Taldyara and Sabalak.
