It has been noted that funding began last year. Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov reported on the ongoing work in this area.
“We started financing on November 29 of last year. A total of 100 billion tenge has been allocated, of which 70 billion has already been disbursed. Work is being carried out in this direction. In the regions, the agricultural service cooperatives have not yet been involved; distribution should also be conducted through them to expedite the process. The funds are available,” said Aidarbek Saparov.
The Prime Minister has instructed to accelerate the efforts. It is worth noting that as part of the implementation of the president's directive, up to 700 billion tenge is planned to be allocated for the spring fieldwork and harvesting in 2025 under the "Kең дала-2" program, including 140 billion from the budget and 560 billion from market sources. Loans are being issued at an interest rate of 5% per annum for farmers, with a repayment term until March 1, 2026.
Early funding allows farmers to acquire all necessary supplies in advance, including fertilizers, to ensure a timely start to the planting campaign.
