“As of today, 61 schools have been put into operation, providing 74,400 places, of which 29 are located in rural areas,” said the head of the Department of Infrastructure Development Zhayyk Makhsutov.
It is noted that in 2024, 25 new schools were constructed, the majority of which are situated in Astana, as well as in Mangystau, Almaty, and Zhambyl regions. All educational institutions are equipped with modern facilities for comfortable learning.
In total, the construction of 89 schools, designed to accommodate nearly 100,000 students, has been financed through the Educational Infrastructure Support Fund.
