According to the minister, the volume of remittances from Kyrgyz migrants working in the UK agricultural sector has exceeded 100 million dollars.
“Remittances from a relatively small number of labor migrants are already having a significant impact on the country's economy,” noted Sabirov.
As emphasized by the British Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nicholas Bowler, Kyrgyz labor migrants adhere to the laws and regulations of the kingdom and return home as a complete group.
For his part, Ravshanbek Sabirov presented the ambassador with recommendations for expanding quotas for seasonal agricultural work and optimizing visa processes.
