The first training session took place in Kyzylorda, with 50 women participating. Experts are utilizing the international methodology "Empowerment through Self-Defense." The training is conducted in an interactive format. During the session, participants will master self-defense tactics, learn to understand the psychology of violence, and recognize dangerous signals.
Similar self-defense training sessions are also scheduled in Astana, Shymkent, Turkestan, and Koshy.
These sessions are organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the National Commission on Women's Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the "UN Women" structure in Kazakhstan.
