The creative space has been established at the request of the Head of State.
Participants in the ceremonial event included deputies of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, representatives from the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, JSC "Kazpost," local executive bodies, and regional creators.
The creative hub in Turkestan was opened as part of an agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Information and JSC "Kazpost." The center is located in one of the buildings of the joint-stock company. This collaboration entails not only a shared location but also a number of joint projects.
During the hub's opening, the exhibition "Invisible World" was also presented, aimed at supporting the inclusive creative industry.
The area of the creative space is 400 sq.m. The focus is on traditional crafts, which constitute a significant portion of the region's creative activities.
A total of 1,341 entities in the creative industries are registered in the Turkestan region. The region leads in areas such as clothing production and accessory manufacturing.
