From January to September of the current year, 175 industrial enterprises were put into operation in Kazakhstan. Among them, there are 18 facilities for food processing, 60 for vehicle maintenance and repair, and 25 for the production of furniture, industrial equipment, and chemical industry products. This information was provided by the Telegram channel “PARAGRAPH,” as reported by Kazpravda.kz
It is noted that during the same period, 415 retail establishments were opened, which is 2.3 times more than the number of industrial enterprises. These included:
- 54 trading houses with a total area of more than 110.7 thousand sq. m, amounting to 48.2 billion tenge,
- 204 supermarkets and minimarkets totaling 23.6 billion tenge,
- 7 large shopping malls, into which investors invested 14.3 billion tenge.
The second place in the number of facilities put into operation was taken by office buildings, while agricultural facilities ranked third.
The total number of various state institutions (schools, hospitals, cultural centers, etc.) amounted to only 137 facilities.
