Representatives from Embraer and CENIPA from Brazil have flown to Kazakhstan.

A delegation from the State Civil Aviation Agency of Azerbaijan and representatives from Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) have also arrived in Kazakhstan.

The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the establishment of a Commission to investigate the aviation incident, reports Kazpravda.kz

Employees of the Department for Investigating Transport Accidents and Incidents of the relevant agency are currently at the site of the aviation incident, conducting the field phase of the investigation.

Additionally, according to the Ministry of Transport, a delegation from the State Agency of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Azerbaijan has arrived in Kazakhstan, along with representatives from Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).

Work at the site is being carried out in close cooperation with the aviation authorities of Azerbaijan.

Representatives from the aircraft manufacturer Embraer and CENIPA (the Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aviation Accidents, Brazil) have also flown to Kazakhstan.

The Government Commission, led by Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev, includes the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabaev, Vice Minister of Transport Talgat Lastayev, Director of the Department for Investigating Transport Accidents and Incidents Nurzhan Malaev, Chairperson of the Civil Aviation Committee Saltanat Tompieva, and General Director of RGP "KazAeroNavigation" Nurzhan Akhmetov.

As a reminder, on the previous day at noon, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a plane on the Baku - Grozny route crashed in Aktau.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were 67 people on board the aircraft, including 5 crew members. Among them are 42 citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 citizens of Russia, 6 citizens of Kazakhstan, and 3 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. There is currently no precise information on casualties.

As previously reported, a government commission has been established in Kazakhstan to investigate the causes of the aviation incident. Representatives from Azerbaijan have traveled to Kazakhstan to investigate the emergency.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the head of Azerbaijan, and he also instructed to maintain special control over the assistance provided to the affected citizens and to offer necessary support to the governments of neighboring countries.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 29 people have been hospitalized as a result of the incident, including 3 children. According to the Ministry of Health, there were 4 fatalities at the scene.

Among those transported to the hospital were 15 citizens of Azerbaijan, 9 citizens of Russia, 2 citizens of Kyrgyzstan, and the nationality of 3 individuals is being clarified.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan has provided information regarding the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who died in the aviation disaster.
