The government has decided to allocate over 2 billion tenge from the Special State Fund for the construction of a kindergarten with 280 places in Petropavlovsk, reports Kazpravda.kz citing the press service of the cabinet.
The facility will be located in the rapidly developing neighborhood of "Zhas Örken," where three preschool institutions are currently operating at full capacity.
Approximately 3,000 children are waiting for spots in the city's preschool organizations, half of whom are aged between 2 and 6 years.
Previously, the government made decisions to allocate funds for the implementation of projects to build schools in the village of Jamansor in the Atyrau region and the station of Manadyr in the Ulytau region, a rehabilitation center for children with musculoskeletal disorders in Astana, a special kindergarten for children with disabilities in Aktobe, a sports complex in the village of Zerenza in the Akmolinsk region, and to complete the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital complex in Ridder.
